Waiting at Stockport Station for the train to arrive to take us to London.
The first thing we visited was the Monument to the Great Fire of London. Sophie had learnt all about this at School this year,so was very excited to visit. It's at the end of Pudding Lane, where the Great Fire started.

We climbied the 311 steps up the Monument, and Eleanor was first to the top with her springy legs. Mummy was last.
We had great views over the whole city from the top of the Monument.

In the Tower Bridge Exhibition, we learnt about steam hydraulics, and Ellie was able to lift daddy just by turning a handle.
Borough Market. Worth a visit. Don't eat before you get there!
